Hmm...it's time for me to continue frm my last blog
(continue frm Day 2):
At nite, i went to Bing Jian n Hon Lunn's room to chat. Yik Hoe, Wilson n Juhn Xiarn also came to chat for awhile...and then they kept laughing about Yu Cheng...sumthing not so gud to mention here...coz kinda "yellow"...haha...but i will just say they kept calling him "B.N.". Juhn Xiarn kept on taking photos of ppl n edited it.
After tat, i went to the bridge there n saw Ivan they all. Ivan was unhappy about sumthing, so Lian,me went to console him! Ivan, be strong ya! U still got us whenever u r sad ;-)
Day 3:
It was the day we, Sam Tet Voices, had to perform during lunch time. I notice tat ppl were getting more late to wake up...
When we reached KLPAC, we went outside n had a brief warm up...everyone was starting to got tensed up. Relax everyone! It was just a performance...not any competition..haha...
But as u all noe, we all also didn't wanna spoil our own reputation right?
At 12.30pm, we gathered outside to hv sum last preparation. After tat, we went to the foyer n listened to SMK Wangsa Melawati. Then, it was our time to perform!!!
I think we did our best..(although did mess up a little bit)...i reli enjoyed singing! I was so happy tat i still got the chance to sing as a Sam Tet Choir member! We really did sing as "1 Heart 1 Voice". However, i saw tat pohling, hui lin n lian got kinda upset after the performance coz our performance was kinda bad...but i enjoyed it anyway...maybe i dun hv any music background n i can't listen clearly whether the songs reli gone down flat seriously or not...Anyway, thx to all the choir members for trying their best (i hope u all do!)
In the afternoon, we took sum photos outside KLPAC. KLPAC did hv sum nice views for us to take photos...
We had Young KL Singers Chamber Choir n Johor Bahru Chamber Choir for the evening concert, I like Young KL Singers Chamber Choir's "One Thousand Million Smiles". I like the song very much...got so much "feel"...haha....When they sang "Ibu", it made me think back our National Competition 2006, we sang tat song too. The song reli brought back alot of wonderful memories...and i told nai tat later we shud sing the song again in the bus.
During JBCC's performance, i fell asleep for awhile...opps! I think i missed sum nice performances...but wat to do...reli very tired after all the choral sessions...lol
When we were on the bus, I called nai to call every1 to sing "Ibu"...then we sang alot of songs later..."Home", "Always There", "La Cucaracha"..and a little bit of "Sourwood Mountain". I felt reli touched to be able to sing all these songs again...tat time i reli couldn't stop the feeling to sing...but everything has to cum to an end...i hv to shut myself up when we reached the hostel...haha
When we were in the room, Nai called for McDonald delivery. Juhn Xiarn was asking me to accompany him to eat downstair and i was like "oh..ok...u wait 1st...i go grab my burger"...and then yixiang followed also. BUT THE TRUTH IS...Juhn Xiarn sked of going down alone n he just wanted us to accompany him to take hot water for his cup noodle!!! (-_-")...i reli speechless...and i still so innocent n believed him tat he wanna eat with us.
At downstair we saw sum juniors sitting there enjoying their burgers bought frm the cafetria...
Then later at nite, Form 1 n Form 2 juniors were busy practising for tml concert..and i went to their room to be a busybody for awhile...Form 3 juniors were running here n there, frm room to room...
Tonight is the last night of Choral Festival for Christina. She had to go back to Ipoh for sum events. At the bridge there, she was practising her singing while sum of us were chit-chatting. Pi Yao n I suddenly gossiped together...LOL...we were standing there n chatted alot and later chooilian joined in also...can't believe tat we shared the same opinions in sum stuffs...haha...if she were same batch with me, i m sure we can be best friends in choir! Well, she is my best friend now too! Finally, only left Jin Ee, Pi Yao n I at the bridge there....we chatted until 3am sumthing!!! Gosh...tat was late! We quickly went back to get sum sleep coz tml all the participants will hv to perform in the concert.
Day 4:
Today is the last day of Choral Festival. We reached KLPAC earlier n we had photo sessions of our own (again)! All of us also try to grab sum times to took photos with each other to keep as remembrance. Every form got to take photo with Pn Tong n Pn Tang too. I reli miss them as my choir teacher advisors! Both of them r responsible. Too bad i dun hv a camera...i also din get to take photos with alot of ppl. I heard Pn Tong said, "It's photo session again...reli brings back alot of memories." I felt sad after hearing it, coz this may be the last time we all can went for a trip in such a big group...in a whole team of choir...Sam Tet Choir!!! We used to take alot of photos whenever we went for competitions, performances or trips. Those were the happy times. Here is our splendid group photo...

We had choral session for the last time. Christina had to leave n went back to Ipoh tat time. Watching her walked to the exit reli made me felt like wanna cry! it was reli sad she couldn't sing with us for the last time...we will miss u!
After choral session, we had Q & A sessions with Branko, Andre, Juliette Lai n Lee Shiak Yao. We could ask them any questions about choral singing...However, i fell asleep half-way...LOL!!! shhhh~~~
At 3pm, we had a full run rehearsal. We had to form a big circle around Pentas 1 when we sang our 1st song, "An die Musik". After singing this song, all of the participants had to squeeze to the front stage n performed a few songs >> "Sicut Cervus", "Lo Lo Re Babu", "Bogoroditse Devo", "Down By The Riverside" n "Not Alone Anymore".
For "Sicut Cervus", Nai Woon, yixiang, kar weng n 2 Seafield guys got selected to stand n sing in front with Tyler (the sectional leaders chose 5 from each parts). They were great! I dun reli noe how to sing "Sicut Cervus" actually...haha...luckily got them.
We had our dinner at 6pm. Tat time i also not sure where were all the members gone...coz there were just a few of us sitting there hving our dinner. And we started to sing sum songs. Suddenly, Poh Ling ran to a corner n cried! Hui Lin, Bing Jian n I were so shocked! We went to ask her wat happened...at 1st she din wanna talk, then later chooi lian n wye yip came too n we consoled her (lian reli gud at it). After a long heart to heart talk, (contents of the talk...i kept it as confidential la...hehe), Poh Ling felt much more better! Poh Ling, rmb tat no matter wat u still got us oh!
It was time for the closing concert. The concert started at 8.30pm. The concert started with the performance of The Singers Vocal Ensemble. After that, it was the performance by the teachers...n they were marvellous with the conduct of Branko. *standing ovation* for them! Pn Tong n Pn Tang did pretty well too n we cheered for them. I reli couldn't believe wat i saw tat nite. After their performances, it was time for all of us to perform. Everything went well... When we sang half-way, I saw Susanna was crying. The scene was so touching. I felt like crying too...but i can't coz i was still on stage...i still hv to sing. After all the hardwork n practices, our performance was gud! (except tat all of us messed up the dance steps a little bit when we sang Down By The Riverside)....Finally, Susanna announced tat the 6th Young Singers Choral Festival was officially closed. Every1 was hugging each other...taking photos...cheering for the tutors...n i discovered tat i lost my scores!!! Aww...i searched for it for a long tiem in the hall....the scores did bring a meaningful memories to me! How could i lost it? I was reli upset n with so many unhappy things suddenly flowed in to my mind>> separate with friends...maybe the last time singing in choir...n finally i couldn't control myself...i cried at the foyer there!...many people were hugging me tat time...tat made me felt like wanna cried even more...LOL...so pai seh... Sam Tet Choir reli plays an important role in my life...tat's where i found my true happiness...doing wat i always like to do tat is singing!
When we went bakc to UM, we decided to celebrate Hui Lin's bday, which is tml (8/6). We wanna give her a surprise! So i was selected to take her to the cafeteria n we shud act like normal. When we walked to the cafeteria, i saw chooi lian holding the presents while walking to the cafeteria! I was so shocked tat time n i pretended to tell hui lin tat we shud wait for others to cum down to move her attention away. Luckily she din see chooi lian. Most of us sat down n waited for Pn Tong n Pn Tang to cum down. Then suddenly, chooi lian they all brought a "birthday burger" with a straw sticked in it as candle! (we din hv cake) Then we sang Birthday song as usual n gave her the present! Mostly all choir members celebrated with her...aww...so "xian mu"...hehe...hope she will be happy! Of coz we did force her to sing, but then finally me n ivan accompanied her n sang "When You Tell Me That you Love Me" together.
Sumthing unlucky happened...the key to our room had broken. AHhhh!!! Yixiang, Nai Woon, Ivan, Yean Tuck n me also couldn't get into the room. All my stuffs were inside leh...and i reli felt like taking a shower after a long tiring day. We reli had no choice but to call Kevinder for help. We had to get the room key of the room next to us n tried to open another door frm the balcony (2 rooms were connected by the balcony). B4 Kevinder comes, I went to BJ n Hon Lunn's room to rest n chit-chat. Yik Hoe also came n we chatted. Nai Woon n yixiang were in another room resting...i dunno where was yean tuck tat time. At around 12am sumthing, Kevinder n Chi Ming finally came...thx to all the ppl who helped us to open the door! This showed tat u all reli do care! Without u all, i also dunno how... After hving a nice shower, i went to the bridge there and saw many of them were there playing "Twister". Actually, i was reli tired ady tat time, my eyes reli wanna close! haha...but i was thinking...it was our last night staying in UM together, let's hv sum fun! It was reli fun playing with them. Too bad Pi Yao fell asleep liao coz yesterday nite me, lian n her promised to hv fun tonight! Reli sad tat the last night we also couldn't hv fun together. Later at night, we all seniors went for pillow talk. We even sang at the balcony there! And I rmb tat night was raining....it felt great coz the weather so cool! syok man! In the end, Lian, Poh Ling, Hui Lin, Yean Tuck n I were chatting...chat till half-way i also felt asleep ady...i rmb tat time was already about 4am! haha
Day 5:
Today everyone also slept till very late. And it was still raining. Maybe the weather made ppl just feel like wanna sleep longer...or maybe most of us also slept very late yesterday night. We went down for breakfast at about 7.30am n Pn Tong took care of our bags. It was funny coz Poh Ling they all still not yet cum down for breakfast. When we prepare to walk to the bus, they all came down. Then they told me tat they woke up late! If not Pn Tong went to wake them up, they were still sleeping...haha
When we were on the bus to Pudu Raya, Pn Tong told us seniors tat there were a few empty seats for us seniors in the bus, but if we wanna filled in the seats, we would hv to leave 2 seniors behind to sit another bus. I did hope to sit the bus with choir...who wouldn't wan? but if i hv to abandon the other seniors..I definitely will not do tat also! But then yixiang volunteered himself...so left the 4 of us, Lian, Nai, Ivan n me to sit another bus n not together with other choir members.
When we reached Pudu Raya, it was time for us to leave each other. I bid farewell to other choir members....and also to Germaine too, she is not frm Ipoh, so she was not same bus with any1 of us. We went to the platform n i saw each of them going up to the bus. 4 of us said goodbye to Pn Tong also...and again, my tears started to flow down my cheeks. I was standing at 1 side...crying...rubbing off my tears with my fingers...i reli miss each and every single of them! I reli had a great time in these few days~~Sam Tet Choir is like a home n family to me. I was in Sam Tet Choir for 6-7 years...it had become part of my life. I remember tat i used to so looking forward to choir practises when i was in school. I hope they all miss us too! I do wish the future choir all the best! I sure will cum back to visit u all whenever i am free. The bus started to move n lian, nai, ivan n me waved goodbye to all of them. Chooi lian started to cry then...
4 of us went up to the bus. The air-con where lian n i sat was dripping water. I used a tissue paper to stuck it to the place where water was dripping out...and the tissue sticked there. Chooilian was saying tat the air-con was hving "flu"...lol...we fell deeply in sleep in the bus all the way back to Ipoh. We went home after we reached Ipoh...go back to reality...wake up from my beautiful dream...
Aaaahhhhh.....finally i finished writing about my happy moments in Choral Festival.

For any members who went for Choral Festival, I hope by reading this will bring back nice memories to u all~~
I also hope tat the juniors can find the happiness in choir as much as i do when i was in choir.
I miss all the comm frm my batch too! It was reli great working, singing n be friends with u all. U all reli added alot of colours n played an important role in my school life!
I will always rmb the times we went for competitions, performances, caroling...etc
